Blue Light Outdoor Adventure education program is a joint crime prevention strategy between Blue Light (SA) Inc, South Australia Police and the community.  Managed under the direction of a community committee, the focus of the program is the facilitation of life skills crime prevention educational programs for youth.

Programs are specifically designed and facilitated to expose participants to challenging exercises that make them think about how they interact with others and to develop skills required to better plan and mange their lives and relationships.

The concept of the programs are to provide challenging activities while addressing topic such as alcohol and drug use, family violence, law and teaching social responsibility through physical activity and team building resulting in leadership skills, creating positive attitudes, self-motivation, employment acquisition skills, problem solving, conflict resolution, individual personal growth and well-being.
